This was performed in Bengaluru, India. Eight month old Rayan a Pakistani to becomes the youngest donor of bone marrow. Rayan saved life of his elder sister, who is two year old name Zeenia, she was suffering from a very rare and highly potential / fatal disease known as Haemaphagocyctic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
The recipient baby who seriously ill and bone marrow transplant was the only cure.
The only possible way to safe life of Zeenia was to perform surgery. This was successfully done despite many difficulties and challenges. Both the babies are doing well and after two months both will be release. Along with their parents, both children will be going back to Sahiwal, Pakistan. This will also be historic proud moment in both countries as of bone marrow transplant operation was successfully performed on such junior babies.
