High blood pressure is also referred to as a silent killer. Understanding blood pressure reading number is of significant importance.

As per data published in Harvard Medical School which states an alarming figure of 30% of American adult has high blood pressure, besides it, many people even do not know they are suffering from it, and the reason for it the high blood pressure sufferer has no symptom or warning signs and symptom.

Raised blood pressure levels are also associated with high cholesterol and may associate with blood sugar levels. These raised levels are associated with damaging the arteries, and heart kidneys and may also result in a stroke.

If blood pressure is detected at an early stage so it is easy to treat and monitor.

To understand how to manage raised blood pressure levels and keep blood pressure under control level, it is recommended by a physician the ideal blood pressure is120/80mm/Hg. To manage and achieve a healthy range opt a lifestyle changes, managing weight, eating healthy food & regularly doing physical activity as advised and suggested by your physician. 

The doctor advises the patient that he or she should monitor blood pressure at home to keep a check on blood pressure. The number recorded is of significant importance, it is recorded as the top one (Systolic) and the bottom reading is (Diastolic), and the pulse reading.

Control and watch your weight and waistline, blood pressure is often linked with an increase in weight. Follow the guidelines mentioned below:

  • Regularly have physical activity and do exercise with punctuality for forty minutes at least five times a week.
  • Have a healthy and fresh diet.
  • Reduce and limit four whites in your diet such as salt the sodium. Sugar. Rice and white flour (Maida).
  • Have a good night’s sleep for at least 7 to 9 hours every day.
  • Keep yourself away from stress and strain.
  • Quit or stop smoking and alcohol.

Regularly drinking water lowers blood pressure.

Drinking water daily minimum of 6-8 glasses reduces and manages the blood pressure. It is important to keep your body hydrated.  The human body comprises up to 75% of water, no other liquid can match the water for controlling blood pressure routinely.

As mentioned above it is fact person suffering from high blood pressure has no signs or symptoms despite individuals having achieved dangerous high levels.

People suffering from hypertension they may have a headache, difficulty in breathing, and shortness of breath. Can nose may bleed.  Don’t consider these signs and symptoms very specific but these signs are not very specific and usually do not occur until and unless high blood pressure levels attain a life-threatening level Or the very high level of blood pressure recorded.

Currently as per the latest guideline blood pressure reading of 130/80 mm Hg is normal, a reading above it is referred to as hypertensive or high blood pressure such as  145/88mm/Hg or higher than 180 /100mm/ Hg or even higher.

A blood pressure reading above normal is taken as the measure and the most important cause of high blood pressure, as per research & heart disease around the globe. Despite effective hypertensive treatment available worldwide research data published, still, in clinics for follow-up, it is observed patients do suffer from uncontrolled hypertension.

At present time 2022, it is estimated that currently, 1 billion people are suffering from hypertension worldwide which is ( more than 140/90 mmHg). This figure is likely to reach 1.50 billion by 2025 globally.

In Australia, it is reported that 62% of an adult are suffering

In the USA it is 72%

In the South Asia region, it is very low from 25 to 36% in the region.

China’s figures reported are 8%

In the Indo-Pak, it is 6%
